Gig recap so far for September

September has been an unforgettable month so far for The Afterparty, with some stunning weddings across the Cotswolds that had us bringing the party vibes from start to finish!

From rustic barns to elegant country manors, we’ve had the pleasure of performing at some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the region. Let’s take a look back at some of yhese amazing gigs.

Cripps Barn – A Rustic Dream

We kicked off the month at Cripps Barn, a truly picturesque venue nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Known for its warm, rustic charm, Cripps Barn is a dream setting for a wedding. The stone walls and timber beams create a magical atmosphere, and we had the honor of providing the soundtrack to an unforgettable celebration.

As a wedding band in the Cotswolds, we always aim to tailor our set to fit the vibe of each venue and couple. At Cripps Barn, the couple wanted a blend of timeless classics and modern hits that would keep guests of all ages on their feet. By the time we played “Mr. Brightside” and “Dakota’ the dance floor was packed, and we knew it was going to be a night to remember!

Eastington Park – Elegance Meets Energy

Next, we headed to Eastington Park, a grand Georgian manor surrounded by gorgeous parkland. This wedding was the perfect mix of elegance and high energy, and it was an incredible experience to bring our live music to such a sophisticated venue.

Eastington Park offers a more formal atmosphere, but that didn’t stop us from turning the party up when it was time to hit the stage. The couple wanted a mix of pop, and rock, and we were more than happy to deliver!

As one of the top function bands in the Cotswolds, we pride ourselves on our versatility. Our setlist had everything from George Ezra and James Bay to The Killers and Oasis, and the crowd loved every minute of it.

Stone Barn – Bringing the House Down

Finally, we wrapped up the month with an epic performance at Stone Barn. With its cozy yet modern barn setting, Stone Barn is one of the most popular venues for weddings in the Cotswolds. We’ve played here before, and every time it’s a blast!

This particular wedding was all about celebration, and the bride and groom wanted an evening full of energetic live music that everyone could dance to. From soul classics to indie anthems, we made sure the dance floor stayed packed all night long. Stone Barn’s intimate vibe really lets the music take center stage, and as the evening went on, we could feel the energy building with every song we played.
